Unframed limited edition of 20 handprinted linocut prints.

Inspired by my own love of cycling I designed a love to bike lady and a love to bike man print. More people have taken up cycling since Lockdown and that’s great to see. I’m looking forward to more cycle lanes so that we can all enjoy a pootle safely.

Lino cut printmaking involves cutting away a design from a piece of lino (the plate). The raised areas left are then rolled with ink , the cut away areas remain white. Paper is then laid over the lino ‘plate’ which is then passed through a printing press or rubbed over with a wooden spoon or brayer. The paper is then lifted to reveal the print. Each print varies slightly due to this hand printing technique, and the blue is graduated from dark to light blue.
