Love Dawgs - Intaglio Print. A very small limited edition of 8 prints with embossed lettering. Printed on Fabriano paper.

Over lockdown I was trying out different things, and found that you could make intaglio prints using tetrapak and cereal packaging as plates…who knew?! Intaglio is where an image is scratched into a surface (the plate), ink is then pushed into the drawn lines and removed from areas where not wanted, making each slightly different from the other. A print is then taken by placing dampened paper onto the ‘plate’, then passing it through a printing press, or in my case an Xcut Xpress.

These two lurve dawgs were doodles from my sketchbook.
It’s a little quirky, there’s some marks and embossing which maybe shouldn’t be there.

These would make a great little Anniversary/ Wedding/ Engagement/ Birthday gift for any dog lover.
